Beautiful Merrick lived happily with a family all her life, but then their personal circumstances changed and she found herself without a home. Angels took her into our adoption program and we are now looking for a second home and a second chance for this nice kitty.

Merrick appears to be a Persian mix with a long luxurious coat. (It will need regular brushing!) She has a definite personality and will run up to you whenever you enter the room. She likes to hang around with her “people” and will be a great TV or reading buddy. She is a talker, and lets you know what she’s thinking!

Merrick lives with other cats and would do ok as a second cat after a period of socialization. However, she very much considers herself “the queen” and would also do well as an only cat. She is used to dogs and tolerates well-behaved ones. Merrick is a big girl and could, quite frankly, benefit from a little time at Kitty Weight Watchers. (Can anyone else relate to this??) But she is so pretty!!

Merrick finds change stressful and her adopter will need to give her a little while to settle in before you see her true personality. It will be worth the wait! She’s a lovely cat who truly deserves a forever home this time.

All of our cats have been spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped. (We pay for the microchip registration as part of your adoption fee.) Merrick’s adoption fee is $75.
